Workers’ Compensation Group Rating– Chamber members are eligible for the maximum level of savings allowed in Ohio, a 95% discount—in all of the major industry types. To receive a free, no-obligation Workers’ Compensation group rating estimate, complete the Savings Estimate Authorization form (AC-3) and mail or fax it to Frank Gates Service Company. Workforce Development – The Human Resource Council and the Business Advisory to Education Committee of the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce are working in cooperation with the Troy Development Council to establish a workforce development strategy to ensure a labor supply that meets the needs of employers now and in the future.
Business Development Network - Contacts are the life-line of a growing business. Meet other chamber members by attending Business After Hours, chamber programs, and educational small business seminars, special events that are offered to meet people and introduce your business. Over 200 networking opportunities are available for chamber members. Business After Hours and Small Business seminars go a step further, and give you the opportunity to network with other Miami County Chamber member businesses that could lead to increased revenue.

Legislative Advocacy & Representation – Your Chamber’s Legislative Committee works to affect public policy and create a favorable business environment. All members are welcome to participate in the Chamber’s Legislative Committee to monitor legislation on local, state, and federal levels. Help shape the issues that affect your business future.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Chamber member employers are eligible for discounted rates for a quality EAP. Administered locally through Upper Valley Medical Center, the plan could help reduce your Workers’ Compensation premiums as well as reducing your healthcare costs.
Chamber Newsletter – Your number one connection to what’s happening at your chamber. Keep abreast of member benefit programs, business information, committee and council activities by reading the monthly newsletter, The Chamber News. Advertising and editorial space on special topics is available to you. Chamber businesses may submit a Member Spotlight article to appear in the newsletter as a free member service. A member may also place an insert in the newsletter – a great way to get the word out about your special business promotions.
Volunteering – Committee Participation – The Chamber has thirteen standing committees that drive the Chamber. Your contribution and involvement in these committees make our organization a success. Please see “Committees” for more information.
Chamber Buck$ Gift Certificates – Purchase Chamber Buck$ and support your local businesses. Available in five-dollar increments from $5 to $50 – can be redeemed at over 100 Chamber member businesses. Anyone may purchase Chamber Buck$ gift certificates throughout the whole year, but only Chamber member businesses may redeem them. Contact the Chamber office for information on how to have your business placed on the “Participating Member” list that accompanies gift certificate sales.
Chamber Conference Room – The Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Conference Room is the perfect location for your next off-site presentation or meeting during normal business hours. It is a benefit, available to Chamber members at no cost. Just call the Chamber to make your reservation.
