In a collaborative effort involving alumnae of Leadership Troy, alumnae of Teen Leadership Troy, the Troy City Schools and the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce, a group of selected high school seniors will engage in a series of classroom and practical learning experiences designed to develop and enhance their leadership skills and potential.

By utilizing theoretical and practical approaches to leadership skill development, students will be better prepared to incorporate practiced skills into potential academic and social development.
The students will observe local leaders at various community agencies, businesses and government and discuss with these individuals how and why they have chosen their field of work, the career goals they have set and the leadership styles they use.
The participants...
Participants can be recommended by faculty, community leaders or Leadership Troy alumnae. Participation in sessions represents a significant commitment of time and dedication on the part of the participants. Participants are required to attend all sessions.
Candidates are selected exclusively on their own merit through an objective process. Applicants should be aware that there might be more nominees than available positions. Applicants will be notified of their selection during the 3rd week in May. | |
