In the last 15 years investments by business and industry have exceeded 2.7 billion dollars.


Approximately 9 million square feet in industrial and commercial space has been added since 1990.


Troy is an expanding market. Troy's population has grown over 14 percent from 1990 to 2000.


Dayton International Airport, only 10 minutes from Troy, is a modern facility with approximately 90 passenger flights departing daily serving 14 major hubs. It ranks in the top 10 U.S. airports for cargo service.


An active Foreign Trade Zone is located at the Dayton International Airport.


Interstate 75, which passes through Troy, goes from the northernmost to the southernmost part of the United States. The intersection of I-75 and I-70, 10 miles to the south of Troy, is known as "the Crossroads of America" and has become one of the fastest growing commercial and industrial areas in the region.


Recent industrial expansions have included: F&P America, Goodrich Corporation, Motoman, Faurecia, Stillwater Technologies, Ohio CAT, ITW/Hobart Brothers, SEW Eurodrive, United Retail, Clopay, AMETEK, ConAgra. On the commercial side: Wal-Mart, Meijer, Lowes, Kohls and several others have recently built or substantially expanded their facilities in Troy.


Troy's quality of life has made it one of the most preferred residential areas in the entire region.
