The Troy Public School System is widely recognized as one of the better education systems in Ohio. Outstanding parental, community and business support enables the district to offer a wide range of education programs, both curricular and extra-curricular, to its students, all of which are designed to prepare the young people of Troy for life after school. The district is comprised of six elementary schools, one sixth-grade building, one junior high and one high school and houses nearly 4,600 students.
In addition, many institutions of higher education, within a 60-minute radius of Troy, offer significant contributions to advanced technology development through educational programs and interdisciplinary biomedicine, electro-optics, plastics, economic research and management development.
