Purpose: to promote the free exchange of information in the area of labor relations, including such issues as health care cost containment, fringe benefits, personnel practices, arbitration, NLRB, OSHA, EEOC, and learn more about the world of human resources and labor and employment law. Human Resource Professionals can exchange information and ideas related to HR management and learn new and innovative ways to deal with human resource issues at quarterly meetings.
- Conducts meetings promote idea exchange— and include a professional speaker on a “hot topic” in human resource and a roundtable discussion. PHR, SPHR continuing education credit (1 hour) have been approved for these event speaker meetings.
- Conducts a county-wide Wage / Salary / Benefit Survey
- Participates in workforce development program
