HYPE is a group developed for and by young professionals who are dedicated to social opportunity, professional development, and community involvement, and have a shared interest in promoting the Northern Miami Valley as a great place to live, work and play.
Vision:
To create a group that retains and enhances the lives of the young, future leaders who live and work in the Northern Miami Valley. Additionally the group resolves itself to growing its ranks by working with local business to help them attract young professionals to the area as well as to retain those already employed.
Goals:
- Social Opportunity – to offer events and activities that enable members to meet new people and have fun doing it.
- Professional Development – to nurture opportunities to develop the professional skills, relationships and experiences necessary to establish and empower a community of young leaders capable of supporting long-term success for the area.
- Community Involvement – to increase member awareness of and access to opportunities to be a part of and give back to the Northern Miami Valley
Eligibilityfor HYPE:
All persons who reside in and/or have employment within Miami County (as well as Shelby, Champaign, Darke, Clark, Montgomery and Preble Counties) and are not over thirty-nine (39) years of age are eligible for membership in HYPE. Also, any resident or employee within the aforementioned counties believing themselves to be “young at heart” and committed to the success of HYPE will be eligible for membership in HYPE no matter their age.
