Leadership Troy

For more than 40 years, Leadership Troy has connected emerging and established leaders with the people, organizations, businesses, and issues shaping Troy and Miami County.
Through this 10-month leadership experience, participants gain a deeper understanding of the community, build meaningful professional relationships, and strengthen the leadership skills they bring back to their organizations.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
Leadership Troy is designed for emerging and established leaders who want to grow professionally while becoming more engaged in the community.
Ideal participants may include employees who:

WHAT PARTICIPANT EXPERIENCE
Leadership Troy provides access and experiences that are difficult to replicate in a traditional professional development program.
Throughout the year, participants meet community decision-makers, visit businesses and organizations, explore community assets, discuss challenges and opportunities, and gain firsthand insight into the systems that influence the region.
The result is a leader who understands not only where they work, but the larger community in which their organization operates.
THE COMMITMENT
Leadership Troy is a 10-month program designed to provide meaningful experiences while respecting participants' professional responsibilities.
Participants are expected to attend ALL program sessions and actively engage in the Leadership Troy experience.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications will be available for the 2027 cohort of Leadership Troy on October 1.
Application deadline is October 31.
Interviews - applicants will be contacted to schedule an interview during the month of November.
Acceptance notifications will take place December 15-December 31
